●  FREE ASSESSMENT — THE SYNC-READY CHECKLIST

Is Your Music
Sync-Ready?

Before a supervisor ever presses play, your song either passes the checklist or it doesn't. 15+ years of pitching music supervisors, game studios, and sports broadcasters taught me exactly what makes them say yes — and I put it in one free checklist. Metadata. Mixes. Splits. Stems. The unglamorous stuff that wins placements. Ten questions, two minutes, and an instant breakdown of exactly what to work on next — no email required. This space has room for everyone. Let's go!

NO SPAM. NO GATEKEEPING. JUST THE BLUEPRINT — AND REAL LESSONS FROM A WORKING SYNC AGENT.

MEET GERRELL "OMEGA SPARX" HOOVER

The Agent In Your Corner.

Many artists believe professionalism begins when the studio looks expensive. Mine didn't. I started with a $70 condenser mic in a corner of my living room, a call-center job, and a $20 marketing budget.

Then came the shift. I stopped chasing streams and started solving problems for the people who license music. One song. One relationship. One placement at a time.

Those placements became Killer Instinct on Xbox. Ninjala on Nintendo Switch. AEW Fight Forever on PlayStation. EVO, Combo Breaker, and CEO Gaming — the three largest fighting game tournaments, all in the same year. NFL programming. National television. SiriusXM rotation. Stacked together, those royalty streams and sync fees built my first six-figure year.

Today I work as a sync agent at Holy Culture Records, building relationships with music supervisors, film and game studios, and sporting events — pitching for my catalog and my clients. I don't teach theory. I show you exactly what makes music supervisors and media companies say yes to your music.

REAL QUESTIONS, REAL TALK

Ask The
Agent.

Straight answers from a working sync agent. No hype, no gatekeeping — just what I'd tell you face to face.

How do I get the book?

Two ways. Direct from SparkFire: the paperback ($19.99, free US shipping) or the digital PDF ($9.99) — the PDF is emailed to you after checkout and the paperback is printed and shipped to your door. On Amazon: Kindle ($9.99), paperback ($24.99) and hardcover ($34.99), with Prime shipping. Same book either way. If you want to put it to work with people around you, The Sync Game Academy opens November 1 — join the waitlist and you'll be first to know.

How much money can I actually make in sync?

I won't promise you a number — nobody honest can. Here's what's real: sync pays through upfront fees and backend royalties — and you can start learning today how to build a real career with your music. My first six-figure year came from stacking the multiple royalty streams that licensing opens up — and negotiating strong sync fees on top. I teach from that receipt, not from theory. Your results depend on your catalog, your consistency, and your relationships.

Do I need industry connections to get placed?

You need relationships — and relationships are built, not inherited. I started with zero. One song. One relationship. One placement at a time. Every level of The Sync Game is built to help you earn them the right way: professionalism, fast turnaround, and music that solves real problems for the people licensing it.

Is my genre even right for sync?

Probably, yes. I've placed Hip-Hop, rock, electronic, breakbeats, and faith-driven music in video games, national TV programs, and sports broadcasts. Supervisors don't license genres — they license solutions. If your music is broadcast-ready and easy to clear, there's a seat at the table. This space has room for everyone.

I've been burned by music courses before. Why is this different?

Fair question — and I respect you for asking it. I'm not a marketer who once had a placement. I'm a working sync agent and songwriter who pitches to music supervisors, film studios, game developers, and TV networks every week — with 15+ years of placements across video games, mobile games, TV programs, and sporting events to show for it. I don't sell secrets. I don't promise outcomes. I don't gatekeep. I show you exactly what makes music supervisors and media companies say yes to your music — then you do the work.

What does "sync-ready" actually mean?

It means a supervisor can say yes without friction. Full mix, instrumental, clean edit, and stems. Metadata complete. Splits agreed in writing. One-stop cleared, so a single email clears the whole record. That's the standard my catalog ships at — and the standard I teach. The free checklist walks you through every box.

Where should I start?

Start where you are. Brand new? Grab the free checklist and the book — that's the blueprint. Ready to build with people around you? The Sync Game Academy (opens Nov 1) is home base. Studio Legend RPG when you want to level up the business and the studio like a video game. The Accelerator when you want me in your corner live for 8 weeks. One step at a time. Forward motion.
